Learning Objectives

Each week focuses on one pose and one fundamental principle of Iyengar Yoga. You will explore several variations of each pose using blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, and chairs in innovative ways to advance your asana and bring on a-ha moments in your practice. These workshops will impart a sense of direction in a pose and invite you to move toward effortlessness as you deepen your practice. By the end of this intensive, you will have the tools to create an effective sequence that can be easily customized for yourself or your students. This course includes:

6 practices that will help you explore the depth and breadth of various poses through the Iyengar Yoga lens

Weekly self-study assignments to help you embody what you’ve learned
